Join us to explore the bustling Williamson Street, known as Willy Street, on the east side of Madison, and learn about the history, culture, and important community impacts located on Willy Street. We will be making stops at the Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center, Willy Street Park, Social Justice Center, Willy Street Co-op, and ending at St. Vincent De Paul Store to do some thrifting!
We will be meeting at the Red Gym Lobby to take the bus together over to Willy Street, but once the event is over, you can spend as much time thrifting as you would like and everyone can find their way back to campus on their own.
This event is open to UW–Madison students only. Please bring your bus pass.
